At first I was getting a white screen. Now I’m getting connection reset by peer and input/output errors when connecting.

Tried turning off udp. tried installing a newer version of NoMachine on the client and server.

    remote server is Ubuntu 18

    client is Windows 10

I’m not sure what log files you’ll want but I’ll attach a couple… actually just the one from the client. the one on the server is just the same thing over and over again so I’ll paste it.

What desktop environment is it? It looks similar to this Wayland-related issue found on Arch:

    ubuntu-gnome

the only remote desktop software I can get to work at all is xrdp logging in with Xorg selected.

I suggest you to sign up to the Trouble Report using the ‘notify me’ which you can find if you follow the link I pasted earlier.

EDIT: the TR above was solved with the release of version 7.0.208.
