ADB push over USB fails

When pushing bigger files to devices connected over USB to the client, ADB stops and device connection is lost. Can anyone test and confirm this?

I tried many host/client scenarios (Windows/Linux) and it seems to work if the host runs Windows but I can’t get it working on any Linux host.

adb: error: failed to copy ‘nomachine_6.2.4_1_armhf.deb’ to ‘/sdcard/test.deb’: no response: Success
