    Hi,

I’m trying to add a node to a Enterprise server.

    nxserver –nodeadd appserver34 reports:

NX> 190 Connected to NX Node.

NX> 500 ERROR: Cannot add node: appserver34:4000. Node already exists.

    nxserver –nodedel appserver34:4000 reports:

NX> 500 ERROR: Cannot remove node: appserver34:4000. Node doesn’t exist.

    nxserver –nodelist reports:

    NX> 167 Node list:

Status  Connection Node                            Type LB  MS  Weight Limit Label

    ——- ———- ——————————- —- — — —— —– —–

running encrypted  appserver35:4000 NX   yes yes

appserver35 is a “NoMachine Terminal Server Subscription – Version 5.0.47”

appserver34 is a “NoMachine Terminal Server Subscription – Version 5.1.44”

and the gateway is a “NoMachine Enterprise Server Subscription – Version 5.0.63”

How do I add appserver34 as a node on the gateway so that is works like appserver35?

    Thanks.

    Tommy

    Hello Pnnord,
the reason of that behaviour could be the same UUID on remote nodes (appserver34, appserver35) which could happen if one is a clone of another. You can verify it for example looking in /usr/NX/var/log/nxserver.log file which provide an extended description, e.g.,

2016-09-20 17:38:19 973.162 21624 NXSERVER ERROR! Cannot add node ‘appserver34:4000’: node ‘appserver35:4000’ with the same UUID 174be7e5-388f-40fe-8adc-46220c78ab49 already exists in database.

In that case, there is a solution here for it in the following forum post:
