I have downloaded NoMachine yesterday and tested it with a Windows host and a Windows client. This worked perfectly. After that I wanted to try the Android client, this failed. The app (4.1) on my Asus Transformer TF101 only shows a black screen and one of the latest logcat messages is something like ‘process died’. I believe this is a segmentation fault. I also tried NoMachine (Android) in a virtual machine, where it works perfectly.

If you would like to have the full logcat log, let me know.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi elquedro.

Could you send the logcat to issues[at]nomachine[dot]com referencing your forum post. Thanks!

Just updating this post after having received the logcat. The problem is that we don’t currently support the Tegra 2 which is what is used on your tablet. We’re working on extending supported platforms.

We had a user trying to install on Samsung Galaxy 10:

and had the same issue.  It too is Tegra 2.  Client starts, screen turns black and then it closes.

Lenovo S6000 tablets have yielded good results at a 200 dollar price point.

Just to update everyone. We are aware of problems with Tegra2 devices and are investigating how we can overcome the technical issues. For now, we have to say that NoMachine on Tegra2 is not supported. I will close this thread. Feel free to open a new topic.
