Is there anyway to get the audio in sync with the video?

I am connecting to 2 mac minis running NoMachine version 6.9.2.  The video and input are extremely responsive but the idea is consistently a second or so out of sync.  I’ve tried changing the video codec and audio quality and neither made a noticeable difference.

I have tried connecting from Windows 10 and OSx 10.14 and 10.15.4.  The remote stations have OSX 10.14 and 10.15.4 installed.  I have tried 6.10.2 and 6.9.2 on both the local and remote machines.  This was with both the free version and the enterprise evaluation.

I originally had 6.10.2 installed but that breaks the audio completely.  I uninstalled and cleared the kext cache and still had no audio. Returning to 6.9.2 was the only way I found to get audio.

So video is fine but audio is out of sync?

Please activate “Disable frame buffering on decoding” in Display Settings and let us know if this changes something in the delay.

    To do that:

    – open the !M menu inside the session by ctrl+alt+0 or click on the page peel in the upper right corner of the window.

    – access the Display ->Change settings panel

    – check option “Disable frame buffering on decoding”

What is the application you are using when you experience out-of-sync audio? Does it happen in other applications? E.g if you open the browser and go to youtube, is playing a video still out of sync?

I have tried it in Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Media Composer, Quicktime and system preferences (With the local monitor and remote monitor next to each other and minimal lag between them but significant lag between the audio from the two devices).

I have noticed no difference in the syncing with toggling any of the options in display settings.

Have you tried with a different client OS connecting to the Mac?  What’s the result?

I have tried connecting from both OS X and windows on both 6.10.12 and 6.9.12 with the same result.

We can send a debug package from which we’ll need the logs. Please let us know if this is ok for you.
