    Dear Community,

I have installed NoMachine on 2 Windows 10 machines, I have enabled the ‘Blank the physical screen when somebody connects’ feature as well as the ‘Lock the physical screen on disconnect’ . However when i remote to either machines the screen is visible and everyone can see what i type and do ! but when i disconnect the 2nd feature works as expected (the screen locks itself).

I have tried it on an Ubuntu machine and it did work the screen was black and it didn’t turn on.

Is this a bug ? or a Windows issue ? if not how can i fix this ?

    Thank you !

There is a Trouble Report currently open specifically for Windows 10, update 1903. What specific version of Win10 do you have installed?

We are investigating a specific issue related to the dual monitor set ups.

The TR I referenced above was specifically for single monitor set ups and we have verified that it by updating Windows to the lastest (1909) the issue disappears, so we have closed it.

@Britgirl is there a TR for the dual monitor set up ?

I’m also seeing this issue on release 1909 when more than one monitor is active. Input from the physical mouse and keyboard are properly blocked, but none of the displays are blanked.

I found thisĀ https://www.nomachine.com/TR10Q09447, but I don’t totally follow its wording. None of my three displays are blanked; I’m not sure if the TR is implying that it should function properly on the primary display.

The TR has just been updated. Apologies for the confusion.

I confirm that screen blanking doesn’t work when remoting in to a Win 10 (update 1909) with two or more monitors.
