I have the option checked for the NoMachine Server Settings to require permission from the user for the connection but it will still let me connect to the machine anyway. I’ve tried turning it off and then on again in case it was just stuck but still can’t get it to require permission from the PC’s user before the connection is allowed.
Windows 10 – 2004 is the version I’m running for these servers.
Permission is not requested if the user that is connecting is the owner of the desktop session. So, if someone is connecting to the desktop with the owner’s account name, there will be no request to authorize shown to the person sitting in front of the computer at the time, if there is someone sitting there.
If you are sitting in front of the computer that someone is asking and you want to be able to authorize or decline, that other person should connect with another account.
