Cannot create virtual session on 4.3.24

When I try to start a virtual session after updating to 4.3.24_3 of NoMachine Workstation for Linux, I get a “connection reset by peer” and the session is terminated.

I have had to reinstall the older version in order to make it work.

Can you tell us the Linux distribution?

Can you tell me the exact package name you downloaded?

I’m running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 bit.

The exact package name is nomachine-workstation-update_4.3.24_3_amd64.deb

Is the client also 4.3.24? Did you revert the server or the client back to the previous version?

How do I check the client version?

I did not update the client, when I updated the server to 4.3.24.

I reverted the server back to the previous version.

On the machine you are connecting from, open NoMachine and go to Preferences-Updates. The version will be written there. Yesterday we released 4.3.30, so it would be a good idea to update both client and server and see if the problem still persists.
