    Hi,

I have some problem when I try to share USB devices. As it’s shown in the figure attached, all the options are greyed out. All my usb drivers are default USB3.0 drivers from Windows. I also tried “Uninstall NoMachine -> Restart machine -> Install NoMachine -> Restart machine again”, which gives me a blue screen and didn’t help.

I runed a command that I found in the forum PC1.txt, and put the output file as an attachment. The information of my NoMachine product and version on local and remote machine are in the figure “3.png”. In the last figure is all the running processes related to NoMachine in the “Details” of “Task Manager”.

Sorry for all the Chinese in the file and figures.

    Looking forward to you reply.

    Hi,

Please check whether the nxusb.ko kernel object is compiled on your machine. If not, you will need to compile it. Instructions for checking and ultimately compiling are available here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR12J00658

There’s nothing else in the attachments that can help us unfortunately. Could you also please send us logs from server and client sides? https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00697

Thank you very much for your reply.

It’s true that nxusb.ko kernel object isn’t compiled. However, I’m not admin user of the server, so I can’t do anything about it. Is there any way to do it without sudo? Or I’d better give up?

    Thanks for reply,

No there is no way to compile and install nxusb.ko without admin rights. You may ask your admin and pass him the article to do that.
