    Hi!

I noticed that I can’t connect to a Mac host after a reboot. I get the “No available desktops on this server” message. So I have to get up and go the Mac, log in, and then I can connect to it from my Windows client. Both systems are on version 8.1.2 of NX. Mac is Monterey on Intel and Windows is version 10.

Hi, we fixed this TR in the 8.1.2 release

Cannot connect to physical desktop on macOS after a system update

Note that the fix to this Trouble Report will require to give accessibility permissions to NoMachine or nxnode one last time. After that, the problem should not appear again.

Check that permissions are added. Does this help?

No change. I removed NoMachine (it was already there and the box was checked) from ScreenRecording and then added it in, making sure it’s checked. Still have to manually log into the Mac after a reboot to be able to log remotely with NoMachine.

Could you send us the logs of the Mac server? Please follow the instructions here and send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com using the title of the topic as the subject of the email. Thanks!

    Open as admin
    /Applications/NoMachine.app/Contents/Frameworks/etc/server.cfg

    and add there line:
    OSXSetActiveIfOnlyOneDesktopSession 1

Save it and reboot machine, please check if it helps.
