    Hello!

Today I tried NoMachine on two computers and it’s running well! Very positive about how easy it was to get working – even cross platform wise.
However, I am at the moment struggling with my client computer. I am not interested in being remote controlled on this Windows 7 machine so I want to stop the server service. When I do this it asks for admin password. I entered it but nothing happens (it removes the password I entered). I see the loading icon for a split second and then it just stays at the login screen. No message about wrong password or anything. I can even enter a wrong password and I get no message! It’s stuck at:
    Authorization required
Please type the administrator username and password to proceed.”

Is this a bug or am I missing something? If it’s worth anything I did try to reboot a few times. No effect.

    Hello KeddeX,

Answers to following questions might help us to solve your problem:

    1. Is your Windows host part of Windows domain?
    2. Are you logged on administrator account when you’re trying to disable NoMachine services?
    3. Are you providing credentials of user who is currently logged to Windows desktop?

In addition, please gather client and server logs from affected host using manual from https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00697.
You can send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com.
