    Hi All,

I’m working to use NoMachine to connect to a virtual desktop I have running on an Ubuntu EC2 instance and I was wondering if it is possible to change the default connection port of 4000? With the firewalls I’m working around I have port 3389 available but I’m not sure how to change NoMachine on the EC2 instance to use 3389 instead of the default 4000. Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Brian

You can change the default port from the NoMachine User Interface in the Server preferences → Network services panel or by editing the server configuration file (namely server.cfg), uncommenting and setting a different value for the NXPort key.

    For example:
    NXPort 3389

After changes nxserver needs to be restarted.
