    Hi,

I’m running Workstation 4.4.12_13 on several Redhat 6.6 workstations with Enterprise Client 4.4.12_15 (including the font exe’s) on Windows 7/64.

The Redhat workstations are running EDA tools (Cadence) which draw very fine lines for tracks and layout schematics.

On the Windows client the text in Linux windows changes from being pin/pixel sharp to suffering from colour-run/smearing simply by moving the scroll bar for the window. The text colour also changes shade.

Changing focus from one windows to another and back brings the sharpness and colour back.

This may not sound important but the various colours mean something on layout schematics and may lead to expensive confusion.

Any idea how to have the colours remain sharp and consistent. I have set the Display Quality to 1:1

I’ve attached two sample images of the text.

    Regards,

    Steve

Hello, could you try to turn off image compression? Just edit /usr/NX/etc/node.cfg and change ProxyExtraOptions in this way (remove the heading “#”):

    ProxyExtraOptions pack=none

Be sure you are in “lightweight” mode, i.e. check the line in node.cfg:

    AgentLightweightMode 1

Start a new session to use the modified settings.
