    Hello,

    Apologies if this has already been answered.  Can one connect from one machine (client) to another (server) WITHOUT taking over the GUI of the server machine and echoing (duplicating) everything that is happening on the display on the client?  I’m not sure what that is called, or if that is possible with NM.

    Try the Workstation for Linux. The Terminal Server range (for Linux) provides an individual workspace, what we call virtual desktop. Workstation offers up to 4 virtual desktops. Compare the products here: https://www.nomachine.com/comparison-terminal-server-products.

    Installing NoMachine (free) or the Enterprise Desktop will give you access to the physical display on the computer you are connecting to. More reading about the differences between the products and virtual vs physical are available here:
