I am using NoMachine 4 to connect from a OSX client to a EC2 instance running Ubuntu 15.04 Sever. I was not able to get it working with the default EC2 keypair, for some reason.

However, I setup a new keypair and added it as per the instructions here (https://www.nomachine.com/AR02L00785).

I have also followed the instructions here (https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00710) in order to set Xvfb

Now, I appear to be able to connect, but all I see on the NX client is a black box:

Attach are a copy of my NX logs from the server (/usr/NX/var/)

    Hello.

Thank you for contacting us and reporting your problem.

Unfortunately there is a problem with this Trouble Report and we do not have enough information to proceed. There should be no problem with connecting to xvfb on Amazon EC2 server when configured properly, but as Amazons EC2 servers does not have any session/window managers installed by default there might be a problem with system configuration.

Please, as well as the /usr/NX/var/log directory include the

    /home/username/.xsession-errors

file and information about desktop environment configuration to help us evaluate this problem.
