Connection failure error 5 input/output error

Connecting to a physical display, version 7.10, remote Ubuntu 18 machine, connection either via Windows 10 or Ubuntu 22 on Lenovo Thinkpad.

From the client side error log:

ProxySession/ProxySession: ERROR! Session failure in stage ‘StageWaitingProxyVersion’.

Error: Session negotiation failure.

ProxySession/ProxySession: ERROR! We possibly provided a wrong version

ProxySession/ProxySession: ERROR! or an invalid session authentication cookie.

Error: Connection closed by the remote peer.

Session: Session terminated at Sat Nov 05 03:57:41 2022.

Encryptor/Encryptor: WARNING! Destroying pending buffer with 88 bytes.

ClientSession: Exiting from the client transport loop.

ClientSession: The transport closed with reset ‘1’ error ‘5’.

ClientSession: Session at 0x00000000034cc500 failed.

ClientSession: Failing reason is ‘The connection with the server was lost.

 

Error is 5: Input/output error.’.

This then repeats itself. What is the issue here?

The issue appears to be on the server side. To understand what’s happening, we need to see the logs. Please submit the server logs following the instructions here https://kb.nomachine.com/DT07S00243 and sending them to forum[at]nomachine[dot].com.
