    Hi there,

I just installed NoMachine on various machines on my network.
It works fine between win7 and Win10 machines. But when I try to connect to a Win XP machine I run into troubles:

    – I was able to install NoMachine on the XP box
    – I was able to connect to the XP box from my Win 10 box via NoMachine
    – Every time I try to close the session w/ the XP machine I get a lost connection message
    – Also, the XP computer is then locked and I cannot use it anymore unless I do a hard reboot of that computer

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing NoMachine on the XP computer but the result is the same.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Hello.

No, you’re not doing anything wrong.

Could you provide NoMachine logs to us?

You can find it in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\NoMachine\var\log,

just zip this folder and send to us.

Could you also try doing this:

    1. Open “NoMachine Service” switch on “Server Preferences” tab.
    2. Choose devices tab.
    3. Switch off all check boxes.
    4. Click “done”.
    5. Restart server.
    6. Check connections again.

If you still notice problem, report to us please.

    Thanks.

    Hi again,

Unclicking all the checkboxes on the devices tab worked!
Would you still like to see log files?

    Thanks for your help.
