Actually the connections settings are only stored during the week. After our computers are shut down over the weekend, all settings to all clients are gone and we have to reconnect using all login entries and connection details again for all computers in the network.

We do not get any error message. If we shut down our Macs over night, it will be possible to connect to all saved clients the next morning, still. Any idea what could cause such a wired behavior?

We installed the last version of NoMachine (5.3.9)

When connecting to computers discovered through the MDNS service, all configurations are stored in a cache and associated to respective servers through a unique ID. In this case there is either a problem with the cache or with the information received from discovered servers. Since we’re not aware of such issue, in order to investigate it we would need to send you a client version collecting more information. Would you like to test it?

As far as i know, we already checked that somehow NoMachine would not store a cache in our case. I would like to test it, if you send me a special version, which can track back the issue better.

Hi, thanks very much for sending us the logs that you did (2 sets). Unfortunately, the second set didn’t contain new logs (from the moment the problem occurs). This means that we still need a new set of logs without the problem (again), then a second attempt of the second set of logs as soon as you encounter the problem.

We appreciate this is tiresome, but we have no other way of investigating this issue that only you are encountering. Something is happening in between and we have no idea what this can be. No one else has reported it and we have attempted several times to reproduce without success 🙁

    Hi Birgit,

I think this procedure will not produce any logs.  So I think i take it as it is…

I will close this topic. We are still unable to reproduce it. If you are able to get logs as we described, send them to us and we’ll take a look.
