Connection terminates with no errors

Hello,

I’m running NoMachine server on CentOS 8 and I have a very strange issue: right after installation everything works great when I try to connect to the machine. If I reboot the server machine, the player reports no available displays and if I try to create the display when prompted on the player, the connection opens for a second and then closes. When I looked at the server logs I get this error : “NXSERVER WARNING! Cannot retrieve node socket for session EEDA630497364558EDAF9438707CD7A8.” The strange thing is if I restart the NoMachine (after a reboot) server everything goes back to normal and I never get any connection problems. Any ideas what’s going on?

Machine is an AMD 3970x based PC with Nvidia RTX2070.

We cannot reproduce such problem. What NoMachine version do you have? What is the Desktop Environment and Display Manager on the CentOS host? Are there any more logs on the server side? You can enable and collect them automatically, please follow the instructions here: https://www.nomachine.com/DT10O00162
