I’m trying, without success to install the latest version of NX on a Windows 2019 Domain Controller.

Its a single DC, so it should work, but it won’t and I cannot find the reason why.

    Any info/help available?

Google seams of no help in this …

    Regards.

    Hi jasgg,

Can you please collect the installation logs ( C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp\Setup Log 2020-…-…. logs )  to help us investigating ?

and send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com, referencing the topic as subject.

    Thank you.

Hi @Bilbotine, thank you for your reply.

I think I wrote it wrong.

I can install the NX software, but I cannot start it, or better, I can for a few seconds, than it stops.

I could not find any logging on the event viewer, or a log file to explain what is happening.

From what I read may be related to the NX user, but as I said in the description, I need a procedure on how to correctly install it.

The server is a Windows 2019 Essentials.

    NX is the latest available.

    Regards.

Can you see the monitor (!M icon) in the task bar?

Does it disappear and then come back?

Is this what you mean when you say it starts and stops?
