    When I connect to linux host with physical display on Windows client, default resolution is set to 2560×1440, which is host resolution. But when I change it to 1600×900 by custom resolution setting, nothing changes. Also, should I use pulseaudio instead of pipewire-pulse?

    I’m using latest version of NoMachine free, host running Arch linux KDE on Xorg and client on Windows 10.

    Hi, you should use pulseaudio, yes.

    Regarding the question about resolution, you could try changing the resolution by using the slide bar, by selecting one of the resolutions supported by the desktop -> within the session, open the menu with Ctrl-Alt-0, select Display -> Change settings. You will see something like illustrated in the guide here:
