We are having a little bit of trouble with our NoMachine setup. We have NoMachine Enterprise Server 5 installed on a Dell poweredge 320 in a Scientific Linux 6.7 environment. We are trying to use NoMachine desktop from Scientific Linux 6.7 computers to open custom desktop sessions that just run firefox. We have mostly been able to accomplish this using the NoMachine defaults on the desktop side to create a custom session that runs the command /usr/bin/firefox. For a long while this had been working well until recently we ran into an error that said maximum number of concurrent sessions cannot create connection. To remedy this we changed the config file here /usr/NX/etc/server.cfg to allow up to 75 concurrent sessions. Now we have had users receive messages from NoMachine asking if they would like to grant access to a different users who is trying to start up their old NoMachine sessions and when they accept these they are booted off of their session. We recreated the custom sessions for these users and now when they try to start the custom session that should just be running the /usr/bin/firefox command they are greeted with a terminal shell and from there they can enter ‘firefox’ to open a browser. We are not sure why this new behavior is happening and would like to allow at least 75 concurrent sessions while having our old functionality back. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
