    Hi,

I am using Windows Enterprise Client 4.6.12 to connect to a virtual desktop hosted by NX Workstation server 4.6.12 on Debian Jessie. This is a headless system so I can’t test a physical connection. I have just updated to Windows 10 and I now see artifacts when I scroll in a window. I have tested using Cinnamon and Gnome sessions. I am currently installing KDE to see if the problem persists. I attach a screencap of what I see.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix and/or workaround?

    Regards.

    HI,

I have tested using KDE and it works OK, no artifacts, however I prefer Cinnamon.

    Regards.

    Hi,

As a further test I installed the Enterprise Client on a Linux machine and then connected to the same server. I didn’t see the artifacts and also I didn’t get the warning that Cinnamon was running in software rendering mode.

So, it definitely looks like a Windows Enterprise Client issue (which I kind of expected), and there is something inherently different in the way the Linux and Windows clients work at least with respect rendering (which I did not expect at all).

    Regards.
