Error: Descriptor: FD#….not available

I just tried using the latest installation of NoMachine (nomachine_5.1.62_1.exe) by installing it on both the server and client today.

I am still getting the same type of error messages. (The session negotiation failed. Error: Descriptor: FD#19136 not available)

Please advise if you were delayed on releasing the update before Christmas or if you weren’t able to solve the problem?

No update in two weeks? I’m guessing the issue was abandoned, which is a shame since I was hoping to convince management to take a look at an Enterprise solution – that’s a no-go since we can’t even connect to a session reliably.

Hi, no quite the opposite 🙂

The patch that we prepared didn’t make the release we have scheduled end of this month or February. We’re happy to send you a patched 5.1.62 for you to try like we suggested last month. Let us know.

I’m periodically getting this error as well (Error: Descriptor: FD#16696 not available’).  Pardon me if this is an old thread, but this is the first hit when Googling this error.  I’m on the latest version 5.2.11  and on Windows 10.  Usually a reboot of the computer will fix it for a while (a couple days, maybe a week), but issue will resurface.  Was looking for a more permanent solution.  Is there a patch for this version?
