Some time ago I noticed font rendering trouble in NX with Chrome/Chromium, I thought that it trouble of new NX4, but as I found it is a problem of Chrome/Chromium project: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=28544 On this page I found this words: http://dev.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/sandbox/Sandbox-FAQ “In the case of Chromium, the entire WebKit code runs this way, and the output is mostly a rendered bitmap of the web pages.” Could you confirmed or not that it is not recommended to use this browser via NX. In FF the fonts appear normal. Maybe also Is it a reason of slow scrolling in chromium in NX? Server: nomachine-enterprise-server-evaluation_4.3.30_2_x86_64.rpm Client: nomachine-enterprise-client_4.3.30_1_i686.rpm Previous messages about font trouble (Now I understand that I related them to Chrome/Chromium):https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/blurry-fonts-with-latest-nomachine-viewer https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/version-4-1-full-screen-multi-user-font-issue https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/pixel-perfect-fonts-in-4-1 P.S.: I use lightweight virtual sessions and ADSL (quality slider in the middle). In FF the fonts appear normal. we were not aware of this bug in Chromium, so we can’t deny or confirm at the moment. Maybe also Is it a reason of slow scrolling in chromium in NX? Yes, if the whole page is rendered as a bitmap, surely this can be a reason for slowness. Thanks for reporting.
