When I use the client microphone to record on the host machine the result is broken garbled clicking audio.

Could you tell us what is the OS version on the client and on the remote PC and what version of NoMachine do you have on both sides? Thanks!
Hi, I’ve tested the same configuration and couldn’t find any audio issue. The problem can be related to the network, as it sometimes happen with unstable connection. What connection are you using? Does the noise occur always? If it happen sometimes, could you monitor your network connection while recording?
What can also help is setting higher microphone quality in session settings.
