I have three computers running NoMachine version 6.6.8. A MacBook Air and an iMac are running macOS Mojave 10.14.4 and a Dell desktop running Windows 7 SP1. I can connect all three via local net LAN using port 4000 not at the same time for sure. So there is no problem with LAN connection.

WAN is the problem. I only can connect from the MacBook Air to the iMac via WAN, using a gateway port 25204. No other connection is working.

I have tried many times to connect between the MacBook to the Dell computer but without success using gateway port 24448. I have removed, reboot and re-installed NoMachine few times but it didn’t help, either.

The message I received as follows: No route to the network or to the host '172.118.xxx.xx' was found. The issue could either be caused by a wrong server address or by a networking problem. Please verify your connection and try again.

The host shown above is the same host with a different gateway port I used to connect from the MacBook Air and the iMac.

I also couldn’t locate a nxserver.log under a log folder. There is no such folder under C:/NoMachine. What steps should I change to resolve this issue?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

access from WAN will work when nxplayer will be able to reach a nxserver’s socket. And it depends rather on your network/router configuration, not on NX. That’s why reinstall/reboot etc doesn’t help.

    There article should help:

How to connect to NoMachine when the server is behind a NAT router or a firewall

    The NoMachine /var/log directory is:

    %PROGRAMDATA%/NoMachine/var/log on Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 or,
Documents and Settings/All Users/NoMachine/var/log on Windows XP.

    as described in:
