I’m not sure if I’m interpreting this app right, and I’m new to remote desktops, but I’m trying to connect a Mac home laptop to a Linux work computer.  I’ve downloaded NoMachine on both and took down the IP address for the work computer.  I start a new connection on the Mac and use SSH and the IP address I noted down earlier and the connection times out and give me Error 60.  I’m guessing this isn’t that easy, or either it is and I’m just not doing something right.  Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hello zaclane42,

Our tutorial ‘Getting started with NoMachine’ (here: https://www.nomachine.com/getting-started-with-nomachine) and article ‘How to connect to NoMachine when the server is behind a NAT router or a firewall’ (here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR11L00827) should be helpful.

Don’t hesitate to write back if you still have problems!
