Hey everyone, having some issues getting hardware acceleration running.

    Environment:

    NoMachine Free 7.7.4

    Windows  7 client

Linux host. GPU: RTX A6000, drivers: 460.91.04

Connecting using NX protocol through an SSH tunnel as per: https://knowledgebase.nomachine.com/AR10K00728

Client shows as using hardware decoder: (no image)

Server shows as using hardware encoder (no image)

    sudo find / -name libnvidia-encode.so -or -name libcuda.so 2>/dev/null

    returns:(no image)

Attached client and server logs. Can run graphical applications on the GPU through the NoMachine connection but only when using VirtualGL (VGLRun), however the virtual desktop applications are not being rendered on the GPU by default. Should it be possible to have the hardware accel working when tunneling the NX protocol through a SSH connection?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

your setup isn’t clear to me. NoMachine free is for connecting to the physical display, so how is a ‘virtual desktop’ involved? And how are you using VGLRun exactly?
