    Hi,

We’ve implemented the Terminal Server on a Fedora 19 box with 24 cores and 48 gb of RAM. We usually have a dozen users using NX virtual desktops, but usually only 3 concurrently. I’ve noticed that the nxnodes per user uses 200mb of ram and nxserver is using 3gb. Seems excessive and the system is slowing down significantly. Also, I’ve noticed that when I logout of a desktop (XFCE4), it doesn’t really log out completely.

    Thanks,
    John

    Hi earthadm,

please send the top output while you have 1 session running. Do the same for 4 or more sessions.

Check also if the memory use in any of the nxserver or nxnode processes increases over time. The memory use you report is definitely abnormal. It can be the symptom of a memory leak.
