I think I was creating additional workspaces and ended up created 4 such dark boxes which are very irritating because it overlaps all the terminals and trash etc..

How do I get rid of these?

    Hi samsing,

We will need some additional information to understand the problem.

Can you tell us know the following:
    – which NoMachine product and version you’re using on the local and remote machines?
    – the OS (if Linux, the distribution) on the client(local) and server (remote) machines?

If there is any other additional information that you might consider important to better describe your use case, please let us know. 😉 Thanks!

Here is the info you asked I may not have all but if you point me how to get it, I will provide it):

    1. Version: 7.6.2 Mac OS X, NoMachine Enterprise Client

    2. Linux

Just to redefine my issue ” Issue is I think I was trying to create additional workspaces but may have ended up clicking a wrong option which created these horizontal dark bars which now overlap anything/terminal as I try to take those over the bars which makes that area unusable for me. Is there a way to get rid of these. BTW, when those bars were created, I was on an older NoMachine version which I just updated this week to the latest version”

Removing panels is easy. Just click on any panel, go to settings and there you should have a dropdown list.

However, your problem seems to be unrelated to NoMachine software. If those boxes are visible even when you are not using a NoMachine remote desktop session, you should really ask in the Xfce forums.

Or do those boxes visible only appear when you are in a NoMachine session?

    Thanks for the reply.

These dark boxes are not on screen and not visible if NoMachine is not used. Also, these are not work spaces.

These are visible only when NoMachine is used.

Is this a virtual desktop session or are a physical desktop session?
