    Hello, Dear NoMachine!

I try to disable warning about “The authenticity of host can’t be established. The certificate fingerprint is: Are you sure you want to continue connecting?” by changing

“Show SSL certificate storage warning” value=”false”

in nxplayer.cfg, but warning appears anyway.

Could you tell me how can I disable this warning?

    Server and Client OS: ubuntu-12.04-server-i386.iso

    NX: nomachine-enterprise-server-evaluation_4.0.369_2_i386.deb and nomachine-enterprise-client_4.0.369_1_i386.deb

There is no way to disable this certificate warning, it’s a security feature.

    Show SSL certificate storage warning

This key is used to disable a warning issued when the key cannot be saved on disk.

Ok, thank you for your answer!

Dear NoMachine, what you think about the same behavior as ssh do:

    ssh -o “StrictHostKeyChecking no” <ip>

Because I see for example this situation:

I use Nomachine Enterprise as Load Balancer, 15 Terminal Nodes, and 500-1000-10000 terminal clients. In one day I decide to increase Nodes count, so all 500-1000-10000 terminal clients will see the Warning about the keys. This terminal clients is a “readonly thin clients (kiosk mode)” with firmware made by me, so I could switch some option nxplayer.cfg to disable this warning, for example. In another way I will FLASH ALL this thin clients again to add Keys in the firmware.

I know that I can “replace keys on the server side”, but it is “not secure” too 😉 😉

OK, makes sense. This will not make the client less secure, since there are obviously other ways to by-pass the check if one has access to the executable code.
