    Hi!

I purchased the AVC pack license and received a codec.lic file for my MacOS client. I have NoMachine Workstation Linux installed on the computer I’d like to access. How do I install the license file? I tried putting it in /Applications/NoMachine.app/Contents/Frameworks/etc/keys/host on my Mac, but when I check I’m still using the VP8 codec.  On the Workstation server I’ve set the “use specific encoding” configuration to use H264.

    Thanks!

    Hi Zia,

Did you log in with the customer ID and password that was created for your, and download the AVC package?

As it turns out I had the evaluation version of NoMachine installed on my workstation. Downloading both the production version and the AVC pack on my Mac, after logging in, fixed the problem.

Britgirl, do you have some evaluation period for AVC pack? For example 1-2 days?

Snejok, the AVC Pack is not available as evaluation. If you would like to test performance of the session via H.264 encoding, you can install the libraries and codecs by hand:  https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00706.
