How to configue username & password authentication?

Hi i’m Korean

so I maybe can’t English well

but I do it

I see program named “NoMachine” yesterday

so I make my server (just push button ‘start server’)

then I try connect my server

but I need “username” and “password”

 

I really can’t know how to configure username+password

I can’t see any option menu, and nowhere in server.cfg

So plz teach me (if screenshot is thank you)

how can I make or change username password?

It’ll be your Windows account username and password (of the user of the server you’re connecting to, so whatever you logged in as into Windows to start the server usually). You can change this to an internal user system (https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/username-and-password) which may be helpful if you have a non-standard computer setup, and it also has some GUI support for other log-in methods (like encrypted key pairs which I’m trying to figure out myself) which you can see when you set up or edit a connection.

@lhw1609 Just use your system username and password. The one you usually use to log in on that machine.
