    Goodmorning.

I am trying to use NoMachine 6.2.4_1 for a connection that I tested with a different tool.

I found many comparison between NX and the previous tool and NoMachine seems to be much better according benchmarks.

Unfortunately, in my test I noticed NX to be very very slow.

Do you have any idea of why this could happen?

Please consider that both server and client are Windows 7 machine: I am using NX on 443 port (because a firewall in the client blocks 4000), but it is slow even with original 4000 port (I tested it with a client installed on a different PC without any block on 4000 port).

Following some suggestion I also disabled ‘Use of acceleration for display processing’ from the NoMachine GUI -> Server status -> Server preferences -> Performance panel… but situation did not change.

Any suggestion on what to check?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I would start with checking logs. Please gather server side logs as described in https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00697 and client side logs as decribed in https://www.nomachine.com/DT10O00163#2. You can attach them here or send to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. Please also check CPU usage on client and server.
