I’ve found a previous topic but since your forum policy prevents closed topics from being reopened, I cannot add comments to it (p.s. that’s a bad policy because it just leads to the same issues being re-re-posted).

So, I connect to a NoMachine instance that was discovered automatically. Great.

But if I leave the LAN the connection disappears.

How can I create a “saved” connection from an automatically discovered connection?

Hi. The servers discovered in LAN are not visible in the list of connections when they’re not available: starting that connection would fail because the host doesn’t exist or the same IP could be used by a host in a different LAN.
You can create a static connection to that server by starting the wizard with the ‘New’ button, then use the server IP (you can read it by editing the LAN discovered server item) to complete the creation.
