I’m running OS 10.13.4 High Sierra and NoMachine 6.6.8. This Mac does not seem to want to show the NoMachine icon in the system tray. It works just fine and connects to other computers, I just don’t see the system tray icon. If there’s another way to know the nx address so I can access it from outside the local network I’m running, that’s all I really need from that.

Let’s check to see if the node is running. Open a terminal on the problematic Mac and run this command:
    /Applications/NoMachine.app/Contents/Frameworks/bin/nxserver --status

If the server is running, you’ll get this:

NX> 111 New connections to NoMachine server are enabled.
    NX> 162 Enabled service: nxserver.
    NX> 162 Enabled service: nxnode.
    NX> 162 Enabled service: nxd.
    NX> 162 Enabled service: nxhtd.

    What output do you get?

NX> 111 New connections to NoMachine server are disabled.

    NX> 162 Disabled service: nxserver.

    NX> 162 Disabled service: nxnode.

    NX> 162 Disabled service: nxd.

    Hello

    Thank you for the logs.
It seems the NoMachine is not running at all, please try to run:

    /Applications/NoMachine.app/Contents/Frameworks/bin/nxserver –restart

and check the output of that command. If it still does not work after this
enable the NoMachine logs as described in this article:

https://www.nomachine.com/DT10O00163 (“How to gather debug logs for support requests”)

and repeat the nxserver –restart command and then send us those logs. You can attach them here or send to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure to include the title of your topic in the subject.

EDIT: Topic closed, assuming that the user did a restart as suggested and that solved the issue.
