    Hi,

I’m trying to configure a set of client which have only the nxplayer, as well as some other containing only the server, all of them being SLES 11 workstations.

I am trying to do this through the scripts located at /usr/NX/scripts/setup but I don’t get what I expect. For server only installations, I get the following error message:

704 Standalon NoMachine Player package is not installed.

For the case of the “only server” installation, I execute the nxserver –uninstall package but I get the whole NoMachine uninstalled.

Can anyone give me a clue about what to do for configuring NoMachine as I wanted?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi josandres,

For client-only machines you have to use the NoMachine Enterprise Client (https://www.nomachine.com/product&p=NoMachine%20Enterprise%20Client). It’s a client-only installation.

For server-only machines you have to install one from the normal packages and manually remove nxplayer binary.

There is no other option currently.

    Best regards,

    Bilbotine
