I looked at the install logs and config files, can’t figure out what’s happening. It just doesn’t run, no process seems to be started.

    Hi FHludlow,

Can you tell us the NoMachine software version you’re using on both the client and server-side? And also the OS of the server-side machine (remote machine)?

This article might be useful, in case you have not read it yet: https://www.nomachine.com/getting-started-with-nomachine

The client is whatever the current one is, I just downloaded and installed it. There is no server-side, because the client doesn’t run at all.

Are there some logs or something that might help see what happens to the process?

Please can you verify if nomachine client is installed correctly, you can do easy that by executing dpkg --list "nomachine*".

If NoMachine is installed, but failed to start, then please check your client host architecture uname -m.
If your architecture is x86_64, please use NoMachine client package Nomachine client amd64.
