Issues after connecting to NoMachine on Fedora from pop.

Client is Pop 22.04 with Gnome / COSMIC desktop to server on Fedora 36 with Xfce.
    Both are running version 8.1.2

Can connect , but after connecting the controlling screen is garbled / discolored / streaky.
The controlled screen is fine and the mouse pointer is effective. The mouse pointer on the
    controlling screen has no effect.

    Try the following:

    1. Quit the Player and disable hardware decoding on Pop in the player.cfg -> option key="Enable hardware accelerated decoding" value="disabled". Restart the Player. Try connecting again. If that doesn’t help, go to point 2.

    2. Disable hardware encoding on Fedora -> option key="EnableHardwareEncoding” key to 0 in node.cfg on the server side. Restart the server.

If that doesn’t help, it would be useful to see logs. Please check here on how to extract them and then submit them via email (or here if they are not too big) to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT07S00243

    The first point worked.
What value should the Fedora be set to?
I left it enabled just for whatever benefit it provides when the other clients connect to it.

After setting this key option key="Enable hardware accelerated decoding" value="disabled" did the problem go away?

There was a typo in my tip for Fedora, sorry, it’s corrected now. I meant to write this: set the option key=”EnableHardwareEncoding” to 0 (zero) in node.cfg on the server side

Yes the client side configuration worked, but I left the server side on 1.
