    Can’t connect to any server. Window flickers and closes without ever showing desktop.

    Session log:

    libva info: VA-API version 1.12.0

    libva error: vaGetDriverNameByIndex() failed with unknown libva error, driver_name = (null)

    9279 9330 17:47:42 981.973 VADecoder/VADecoder: WARNING! Failed to initialize DRM display for device /dev/dri/renderD129 with error 0xffffffffffffffff.

    libva info: VA-API version 1.12.0

    libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/iHD_drv_video.so

    libva info: Found init function __vaDriverInit_1_10

    libva info: va_openDriver() returns 0

    Info: Detected Intel iHD driver for Intel(R) Gen Graphics – 21.1.1 ().

    Info: Using H.264 hardware decoder.

    9279 9330 17:47:42 994.100 VADecoder/VADecoder: ERROR! Failed to sync surface.

    What stands out to me is that it tries to open an Intel driver even though I’m running Nvidia.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,

    for a start, let’s confirm the session closes due to a problem with the driver. To do that, please edit the $HOME/.nx/config/player.cfg and change the ‘Enable hardware accelerated decoding’ key to:

    <option key=”Enable hardware accelerated decoding” value=”true” />

    Sorry, I made a mistake in my last post. To disable hardware decoding the key should be like this:

    <option key=”Enable hardware accelerated decoding” value=”disabled” />
