    Hello,

    I am wondering what happens to “lost” (resumed) sessions. What I mean by that is I had a KDE session running on display :1024 for many weeks. Then several system problems seemed to occur and I couldn’t resume that session. When the system problems went away and NX Client finally brought up a session to my dismay KDE started over and I was now on display :1034. Is there any way to get back to the :1024 session or it lost forever?

    Thanks,
    Jordan Krim

    Hi jkrim,

    what do you have installed on the server host? NoMachine 4?

    If you want to check the status of your sessions you can run the following command on the server host:

    $ sudo /usr/NX/bin/nxserver –history

    It is Version 3.3.0-14 and I do not have root authority to check history, so is there another way?

    Jordan,

    if you don’t have admin privileges you can ask your administrator to check if the old session is still alive. In any case version 3.3.0-14 is no longer supported.
