NoMachine 6.4.6 has been running fine.

I have NoMachine setup to run when computer starts.

However, I want to move the app from Applications folder using Shift key and drag app to e.g. private/var folder so that it resides there instead.

But when I do this, NoMachine stops working. I can no longer get a connection to the NoMachine server.

So I tried to move the app back using Shift key and drag app to Applications folder, but even after a restart it is still no longer working (cannot start the NoMachine server).

To get NoMachine operational again, I must uninstall it then reinstall, but there it will rest in the Applications folder (which I do not want).

How can the NoMachine app be successfully moved to a different folder and it will continue to function?

Is there a setting or configuration that must be changed elsewhere for this?

    Hello catalina,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

This feature is currently in production, but no release date has been set yet.

We have a Feature Request for it (https://www.nomachine.com/FR03M02897), you can tick the box at the bottom (‘notify me’) in order to receive an e-mail when it is released.

    Best regards,
