The client is a Windows 8 machine, server is Mac OS Mavericks.

I have a dual monitor setup on the client.

Logging in and correctly setting up the remote session is always an issue.  NoMachine does weird things when I try to set up the display the way I want – fullscreen on just one of my two monitors.  It goes all weird, doing things like when I hit ‘fullscreen’ it opens a very large but NOT maximised window across both monitors, with most of the window off screen.  Or, and this is the most annoying, when I hit ‘fullscreen’ it does go fullscreen on the current monitor (as expected) but it stops responding to mouse clicks.  Weirdly, the mouse hover still registers, as buttons highlight etc, but there is zero response to clicking.  I have to open task manager and quit the NoMachine process and try starting all over again.

This is becoming a real headache – I can fiddle around with the screen settings, randomly trying this and that, and maybe eventually it will sort itself out, sometimes not and then I just can’t use the software.

I consider myself an expert Mac and Windows person by the way.

    Hi noetus.

We’re not aware of such issues. Are you scaling the desktop and maybe using a different ratio for each display? What’s the monitors geometry and layout, e.g. two landscape displays with primary on the left?
