    Good morning everyone,

I have recently installed the latest version of NoMachine and the issue I’m having is that I can’t have multiple users connecting to the same server. In fact I can, but they pretty much end up in the same session.

Ex: John starts a session and he successfully connected to my server through NoMachine. If Mary starts a session on the same server (through NoMachine as well), she will share and see John’s screen. Even the keyboard and Mouse are shared between them both.

The solution I’m looking for is to have multiple independent sessions to my server. Can that be accomplished with NoMachine? If yes, what steps am I missing?

    Thanks in advance.

NoMachine server for Windows is for access to the physical display of the Windows host where it is installed. If what you want is to have multiple connections each to their own desktop, this is terminal services for Windows. Microsoft’s EULA is rather restrictive on that (which is why we don’t offer this functionality), unlike Linux (see https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/multiple-connections). Alternatively, you could virtualize the Windows desktop using a hypervisor technology (VMware, Virtualbox etc) and then install NoMachine on each of the VMs. That way your users would each have access to their own physical desktop (running on virtual machines).
