    Hello,

I have Arch Linux along with KDE Plasma installed. Arch Linux uses Pulseaudio. Unfortunately, no audio streaming and forwarded microphone are found in the selections list. I tried doing pulseaudio -k and when executing ./nxnode –audiosetup from /usr/NX/scripts/setup directory but there aren’t any options. Everything works great on host PC. Is there any solution to that?

    Arch Linux Kernel version: 5.9.11-arch2-1

    KDE Plasma version: 5.20.4

    KDE Plasma framework version: 5.76.0

    Qt version: 5.15.2

    Pulseaudio version: 14.0

Yes, it works if started from applications menu. However, it would be even better if it worked by opening the connection through the tray.

    Thanks a lot.

Mantoshelis, you may have read my follow up in the topic that Kroy linked in his reply. As mentioned there, we are investigating a number of issues with Arch-based distros (currently unsupported by the way) to see if they can be fixed in a relatively straightforward way. For now, users can adopt the workaround suggested. Thanks for your patience.

Please update to the latest version on both client and server sides and tell us if you are still having issues with audio.

I tried to update NoMachine 7.0.211-1 both on server and client, remote desktop stopped to work. After connection to server, black screen together with NoMachine connection notification is being shown. nxserver.service restart didn’t help.

    With 6.12.3-1 everything works fine.

Is this the same environment as you wrote at the start? If so, I will split this as a new topic about black screen on Arch with KDE.
