    Hi All,

I have just installed the latest version of NoMachine 7.4.1 and have been able to connect to another system over the internet but when I tried again the next day I can’t see the internet IP and port no., see example below, it only shows the internal IP:

As I say this was working yesterday and I could see both internal and external IP’s.  I have tried restarting the nx server and turning off the remote systems Firewalls but it still doesn’t show the external address.  I also tried running some of the other suggestions in previous posts:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\NoMachine\bin>nxserver –restart

    NX> 162 Disabled service: nxserver.

    NX> 162 Disabled service: nxnode.

    NX> 162 Disabled service: nxd.

NX> 111 New connections to NoMachine server are enabled.

    NX> 161 Enabled service: nxserver.

    NX> 161 Enabled service: nxnode.

    NX> 161 Enabled service: nxd.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\NoMachine\bin>nxserver –upnpstatus

    Local IP                   192.168.1.192

    Gateway IP                 192.168.1.1

    External IP                87.1.0.0

    C:\Program Files (x86)\NoMachine\bin>nxserver –upnpmap

    Local IP                   192.168.1.192

    Gateway IP                 192.168.1.1

    External IP                87.1.0.0

Has anyone seen this before or know how to fix this, any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks Steve

    C:\Program Files (x86)\NoMachine\bin>

Hi, the image didn’t paste successfully inside your topic, can you try and attach it separately?

Just to check, are you sure the computer is connected to the same network as it was when it was working? Can you also provide some more details about the type of router that you have in place?

Hi, sorry for the delay, please see attachment.

The router is standard BT internet wireless router.  After I submitted this issue I was then able to re-connect and it was working ok.  Today I tried and I can’t now get back onto the system.

Is there a way to check why it’s not pulling the external IP and port number?

    Thanks, steve

    Hi swall5555,

We were not able to understand what is causing the problem.
When it is working is it the same router/provider? And, when it stops working is it still the same router/same provider?

Could you please enable server logs, and send us logs showing the two scenarios, when it works and when it doesn’t work so that we can compare? You can find the instructions on how to enable server-side logs here: https://knowledgebase.nomachine.com/DT11R00182

Please send the log files directly to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com, making sure you use the title of the topic in the subject of your email. Thanks!
