    Hi Folks any help is appreciated.  I’m trying to serve my “local to the linux box” printer to a remote machine running Windows 10.

    It seems to me that NoMachine does not have permissions?  The icon for that printer shows a padlock, and I can’t connect.

    Centos Stream running cups-2.2.6-38, user david is a member of what I think are the right groups

    [david@Fauci cups]$ id david
    uid=1000(david) gid=1000(david) groups=1000(david),3(sys),4(adm),7(lp),10(wheel),1002(lpadmin)

    From /etc/cups/cups-files.conf

    cups-files.conf: SystemGroup sys root wheel lpadmin

    [david@Fauci ~]$ getenforce
    Permissive

    I’m missing something…

    Is it the nx user who needs to be in the lpadmin group?

    Is there a log that would show me the “can’t connect to printer” event?

    It’s a known issue. A fix should be ready the next available release. Thanks for taking the time to report.
