Just a quick update on development of the the 4.1 release. Since our last notice the time has been put to good use making improvements in the configuration dialogs. Additionally, regression testing and bug fixing have continued incessantly. Two major bugs, now fixed, in the Mac server could have warranted an update all of its own with Windows and Linux to follow later. But we decided against indiviudal updates, opting instead for a release that encapsuates all our supported platforms even to the expense of delaying a few more days.
We are also testing a new DirectX backend for Windows that didn’t get into version 4.0. This will offer tremendously better performance as well as better compatibility with games running fullscreen.
So, all things considered, for the NoMachine 4.1 Minor Release we should be looking at next week.
