NoMachine Anywhere stopgap?

I’m evaluating remote desktop solutions for personal use, and so far, NoMachine fulfills all my needs except one. The only missing must-have feature is the address book functionality that looks to be provided by the NoMachine Anywhere feature.

Is there a stopgap solution I can use to connect to remote machines over a WAN where I don’t have to track dynamic IPs, etc. until NoMachine Anywhere is released?

Is the easiest method just to use a Dynamic DNS service, and create a static forwarded port on each machine I want to connect to and repeat the process on each remote user’s router I need to connect to?

Is the beta still open to test out the NoMachine Anywhere functionality to see if that feature makes NoMachine fit all my needs?

Until NoMachine Network is available, users will have to know the IP or hostname of the remote computer.

If the router accepts UPnP or NAT-PMP commands, NoMachine (free) will attempt to retrieve the public or external IP of the host machine where it’s installed and configure the router to allow a NoMachine client to connect from outside of the private network (WAN).

In some cases, ports will have to be opened manually on the router and mapped to the public IP address of the server host. Please see the following article for more details:
